Taking The Leap For The Youth

Tseba Tanks Golf Day - gymnasts

Teaching sacrifice in the pursuit of excellence.

The 4th of September 2019, was the successful Golf Day sponsored by Tseba Tanks and other leading companies. The day was a combination of elements such as great food, inspiring company and world class entertainment.

The main event of the day was an inspiring act by the Wild Flames Acro-Gymnastics World Group. A group of youthful gymnasts, varying from the ages of 11 to 19. BMG organised the Golf Day Event in order to bring sponsors together for this dynamic group.

The Wild Flames Acro-Gymnastics World Group (W.F.A.G.W.G.) is a non-profit organisation that acts as a balancing beam for the youth in Boksburg. Their program was designed to positively influence and develop the youth through gymnastics. Keeping the youth away from distractions and wrong doings, this sport teaches discipline, concentration and dedication. All of which are values Tseba Tanks stands by. This platform ensures children don’t bend rules, they only bend spines. The W.F.A.G.W.G want to “…teach our children about sacrifice in the pursuit of excellence”.

We believe in empowering and providing a skill development platform for all those in need. The Golf Day Event was our way to assist the group with raising funds to attend the World Gymnastics Championships. The young gymnasts blew the crowd away with their exciting talents and it was evident that this self-funded team puts in hours of work to refine and hone their skills.

The children’s coach Chris Botha, is a celebrated high performance acrobatic gymnastics coach. Acrobatic gymnastics is a competitive gymnastic discipline. His passion is to develop children from every walk of life. He uses it as a tool to train the youth to find balance even when they’re facing the uneven bars of life.

These talented teens put a unique spin on the event. As the hyper energetic music filled the air and the crowd was uplifted by the group’s skills and colourful costumes. They showcased various types of gymnastics. Varying from dancing, tumbling, to highly technical acrobatic movements.

Though they are young, the Wild Flames Acro-Gymnastics World Group showed integrity and determination. Which are part of our core values as Tseba Tanks. We value excellence, development and participation of all South Africans regardless of background. This group showed a firm commitment to excellence and their physical flexibility. For that, we are proud.
